(Calgary) Dotson attended training camp with the Stampeders and played in both pre-season games, recording one defensive tackle. He was released at the conclusion of camp and then re-signed by the Stamps on July 15. He played one game and recorded one special-teams tackle.

College           

Dotson played his final two seasons (2020-21) at Florida State. In 10 games for the Seminoles, he made 21 tackles and forced a fumble. In 2019 at Florida Atlantic, he earned first-team all-Conference USA honours after setting a school single-season record with nine interceptions while making 30 tackles. Dotson’s 2018 season with the Owls was cut short due to injury and he was redshirted. He played 12 games at Georgia Tech in 2016 and made two tackles. Dotson had four interceptions including a pick-six and 28 tackles at Garden City (Kan.) Community College in 2017.

Personal

Dotson was a three-year starter at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Fla., and had 12 career interceptions including eight during his junior season. He also competed in track for the Buccaneers.
