• 2016 – Signed with Calgary Stampeders on Oct. 12 and placed on practice roster. He re-signed with Calgary on May 17, 2017, and spent two seasons with Stampeders before being released on Jan. 2, 2019, to pursue an NFL opportunity
• 2019 – Signed with Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) Jan. 10. He was released on Aug. 30 but later that season rejoined the Eagles as a member of the practice squad
• 2020 – Signed with Carolina Panthers (NFL) on Aug. 16 and added to Carolina’s practice squad on Sept. 6. He was activated by the Panthers during the 2020 season, appearing in two games

2024

(Calgary) Michel played and started 18 games for the Stampeders and had a career-high 68 receptions for 774 yards and a team-high six touchdowns catches. In a Week 4 win at home against Winnipeg, he led Stamps receivers with nine catches for 75 yards and one touchdown. In Week 21 at Saskatchewan, he had a season-long 67-yard reception for a major. Michel received the Herm Harrison Memorial Award for his work in the community.

2023

(Calgary) After a four-year stint in the National Football League, Michel re-signed with the Stampeders prior to Week 5 and started the final 15 games of the regular season. He finished second on the team with 710 receiving yards and third in receptions with 48. Michel’s three touchdowns catches tied him for second place on the club. He had 134 receiving yards in a Week 7 home game against Ottawa including a 95-yard touchdown that was the Stampeders’ longest play from scrimmage for the season. Michel’s season high in catches was seven, which he accomplished in Week 17 at Hamilton. He started the Western Semi-Final and had five receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown as well as a missed-field goal return for 19 yards.

2018

(Calgary) Michel appeared in 11 regular-season contests and made 31 catches for 435 yards and five touchdowns. He also had two carries for 36 yards and one score, five punt returns for 39 yards and two kickoff returns for 32 yards. Michel had season highs of five catches and 68 receiving yards in a Week 11 game against Winnipeg. He missed the final four games of the regular season as well as the playoffs after suffering a broken scapula.

2017

(Calgary) Michel was first activated for Game 2 and in 13 games (11 starts) he had 41 catches for 780 yards and three touchdowns and two carries for 11 yards. He has also returned three kickoffs for 57 yards and three tackles. He scored his first CFL touchdown on June 29. Michel was named a CFL player of the week for Week 6 when he had six receptions for 190 yards and one touchdown. The yardage total was the highest by a Stamps receiver since Romby Bryant’s 211-yard game in 2009. He was on the one-game injury list for Game 17. He had one catch for four yards and one carry for 13 yards in the Western Final and one catch for 50 yards and one kickoff return for six yards in the Grey Cup. Michel was the West Division’s nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie.

2016

College

Michel played four seasons at UMass and, over the course of his career with the Minutemen, he made 92 catches for 1,016 yards and six touchdowns. He also had 28 carries for 162 yards and two touchdowns.

Personal

Michel played receiver and safety at American Heritage high school in Plantation, Fla. He made 27 catches for 607 yards and eight touchdowns during his senior season. His brother Sony was a star running back at the University of Georgia before going on to a career in the NFL.
