(Calgary) In his return to the field after missing a season due to injury, Philpot has played all 18 games. He has 66 catches for 659 yards and three touchdowns as well as 15 carries for 115 yards. In Week 2 at BC, he accounted for 66 yards from scrimmage with five catches for 56 yards and one carry for 10 yards. In a Week 7 win over the Lions, Philpot had six catches – a personal single-game best – for a team-leading 79 yards and one touchdown.

(Calgary) Philpot missed the entire season due to a hamstring tear.
2022
(Calgary) Philpot played 14 regular-season games in his rookie campaign including 11 starts and saw action both as a receiver and a kick returner. On offence, he made 23 catches for 317 yards and three touchdowns and had 10 carries for 102 yards. On special teams, Philpot returned 21 kickoffs for 573 yards and a league-leading 27.3-yard average, one punt for 24 yards and two missed field goals for 35 yards. After missing the first two games of the season due to injury, he made his CFL debut in a Week 3 contest against the Edmonton Elks and recorded his first catch. Philpot scored his first pro touchdown in Week 10 against BC and he had a season-high five catches in Week 19 against Hamilton. He was a starter in the Western Semi-Final and had one reception for five yards and three kickoff returns for 78 yards.

College
Philpot played 22 games over three seasons (2018-19, 2021) at the University of Calgary. He recorded 113 receptions for 1,889 yards and 10 touchdowns during his Dinos career. Philpot was a Canada West all-star in 2019 and 2021 in addition to twice being named a first-team all-Canadian. He was part of the Vanier Cup-championship team in 2019.
Personal
Philpot and his twin brother Tyson both starred for the Seahawks at Seaquam Secondary School in Delta, B.C., before enrolling at the University of Calgary. Their father Cory was a CFL running back who played a combined six seasons for BC and Winnipeg.
