The Stampeders enter Week 8 looking to pick up their first road win of the season following a 25-24 win over the BC Lions at home this past Sunday. The win moved the Stamps to 3-0 at McMahon Stadium this year. Jake Maier led the way for the Stamps picking up 307 yards and three touchdowns through the air.

The Redblacks have had their best start to a season since 2018 when they also went 4-2 to begin the year. Ottawa has yet to lose at home sitting at 3-0. Last time out they beat Edmonton 20-14.

3. Head To Head
This is the first of two meetings between the Stamps and Redblacks this year. Calgary will host Ottawa on Aug.15. The two teams split the season series last year with both winning on the road.

The Stampeders have recorded two interceptions on defence in four straight games coming into Week 8.
Calgary is 11-3-2 overall against Ottawa since the Redblacks came into the league in 2014 including 6-1-2 in the Nation’s Capital.

Stamps: RB Peyton Logan: Logan was outstanding against the Lions last week, especially in the return game. He had 215 total return yards in the Week 7 win including a 50-yard punt return that set up a touchdown.

Redblacks: WR Justin Hardy: Hardy is on pace for his second-consecutive 1,000-yard season. He currently sits fourth in the CFL with 542 yards through the air.
